Bill, you should watch this guy from the Philippines:

Wilson Tortosa, a.k.a. ~batangbatugan ([link])

I saw his recently-published copy of "Wolverine: Prodigal Son" at the Comic Swap today and immediately recognized his artwork (and his name on the cover, haha). An interesting manga-esque take on the classic American comic character.
